Oh my goodness!!! I had so much fun designing this Capelet for the newest Design Wars Challenge! As you may have read in my previous post, I was working with Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable in the color Springtime. This pattern comes in 3 sizes perfect for Toddlers and Children. As you can see in the pics below, this is great to dress up an outfit, or to inspire some imaginitive play!
Finally!!! A new pattern to share with you! Well, almost... It's a secret until Monday, March 23. Until then, let me tell you a little bit about the yarn I used and give you a sneak peek at the item I designed!
This is my first time participating in Crochetville's National Blog Tour so I want to say a big HELLO to those of you who stumbled upon my blog that way!! Now, I've been debating the best way to go about introducing myself to all of those who don't know me. I have done quite a few interviews lately and Crochetville has also included a little Q&A with me on their site so I figured I would do something a little different...
It took me a couple years get a blog started. K has always encouraged me to go this route, even before I started to crochet. As I think about it, he probably was tired of listening to me blab non stop and thought it would be a good way for me to get all my thoughts out without him having to suffer through it ;)
So last September I finally took the plunge right here and LOVED it!!! Then almost as suddenly, I stopped. What happened? Where did I go? Where are the patterns? To be honest, I got really tired and very sick. When I wasn't working my day job, running a home daycare, I was sleeping. I started suffering from daily headaches and migraines. Sciatic pain was ruling my life. Sore, achy muscles became the norm.
My name is Pam! I'm a 30-something WAHM of two amazing children! I live in beautiful Northern Ontario with my husband, kids and our feisty Westie, Rigby.
