Finally!!! A new pattern to share with you! Well, almost... It's a secret until Monday, March 23. Until then, let me tell you a little bit about the yarn I used and give you a sneak peek at the item I designed!
It's another round of Design Wars!!! This time around, we were able to choose whichever Red Heart Yarn we wanted and were paired to compete with other Challengers based on our selections. I chose Boutique Unforgettable in the color Springtime. This yarn is so beautiful to use in any colorway you like. The way the colors change throughout the skein are nice and subtle and the soft texture of the yarn gives your piece added dimension. My only con with this yarn is that it is hard to go back if you make a mistake. It has a tendency to rip if you aren't careful. I was also happy to find that my local Michaels carries this yarn in stock in a dozen different colors!
My design this time around is for girls, sizes Toddler and Child. It is an item made to be worn as a layering piece, takes only 1 skein of Unforgettable, and is the perfect item to be worn every season!!! Intrigued? Make sure you are following the Design Wars Blog and sign up for the newsletter to stay up to date on all the new Challenges, Giveaways and Promotions put on by Salena and the DW team!
Until next time, Happy Hugs and Yarny Dreams!
