Here we are again! Another round of Design Wars and I am so excited to talk about this yarn!!! For the first time ever in this competition, I knew EXACTLY which yarn I wanted and for the EXACT project I wanted to create, and not once did I change my mind! For this particular project I knew I needed Red Heart Soft and here is why...
1) The name says it all, this yarn is SOFT, and easy to use, and comfy to have next to your skin without any treatments needed between hooking and wearing!
2) 41 colors to choose from! This was the hardest part of my project. Narrowing it down to just 3 colors! With the subtle sheen you get from this premium acrylic, you will fall in love with every hue available! I ended up getting White, Charcoal and Seafoam.
3) Versatility. Another plus to this yarn is that it is a really great worsted weight yarn. I sub this yarn into other crochet projects that call for other worsted weight yarns all the time. The reason being? See points 1 and 2 above ;)
Have you tried this yarn before? What do you like most about it?
My design this time around is for Children, sizes 2T - 10 with Infant sizes 0-3 - 24 months coming shortly after!. It is an item made to be worn as a layering piece, was designed using 3 different colors of Soft (you could use more or less), and is the perfect item to be worn every season!!! Want one more hint? It's part of an existing Sincerely Pam collection! Intrigued?
