It took me a couple years get a blog started. K has always encouraged me to go this route, even before I started to crochet. As I think about it, he probably was tired of listening to me blab non stop and thought it would be a good way for me to get all my thoughts out without him having to suffer through it ;)
So last September I finally took the plunge right here and LOVED it!!! Then almost as suddenly, I stopped. What happened? Where did I go? Where are the patterns? To be honest, I got really tired and very sick. When I wasn't working my day job, running a home daycare, I was sleeping. I started suffering from daily headaches and migraines. Sciatic pain was ruling my life. Sore, achy muscles became the norm.
What was going on you ask? Well!!! We are expecting Baby #2! A little girl will be joining our family in July. M is so excited to be a big brother! It's all he talks about. We have been picking paint colors, looking at furniture for her and getting ready to close the daycare. M has been right there beside me telling me what else we need to do for her, what she will like and what her name should be (If you really want to know, he calls her Sindro. Not sure where it came from, but he's pretty sure that is what it is going to be.)
While I'm working through all of this, I have been puttering around with crochet. I am in the next Design Wars Challenge using Red Heart Unforgettable in just 2 weeks and am also working on an incredible cardigan that is unlike anything that I have designed before! I am just working soooooo sloooooowly now. It's driving me crazy. In my head I have 16 new designs planned for 2015. How much of that will become a reality? We will have to play it by ear. All I know is that I really appreciate all of you who have stuck by me, chatted with me and encouraged me. Thank you.
Happy Hugs and Yarny Dreams,
