I like to think that I have a pretty sweet job. I work from home in my pjs, set my own hours, and let my creativity be my guide. Of course, the drawbacks would be never quite getting away from work, like, ever. Oh, and the unpredictable pay. And maybe even the lack of face to face contact with other grownups, unless you count the cashiers at the grocery store. I try to get in as much adult conversation as I can while they ring up my order. Just slightly embarrassing. However, the good always outweighs the bad when it comes to this Dream Career, and it never hurts when some extra perks come along that sweeten the pot! Enter, Chetnanigans. Sean and Holly O’Brien are the Masterminds behind the name, and with Sean’s love of wood working, and Holly’s passion for crochet, they are looking to fill a void in the under-serviced Crochet and Knit market. Chetnanigans offers…
54 different products, each lovingly handcrafted by Sean using the most beautiful and durable materials possible.
When I was asked about the opportunity to review one of their products, I jumped at the chance! I’m a sucker for organization and anything that makes my job a little easier. I chose to experience the Laptop Pattern Partner. The package arrived shortly after and I was seriously impressed with the care that went into the handling of my order. The Pattern Partner was packaged in such a way that it was safe and sound, no matter what kind of handling it experienced! The Laptop Pattern Partner is made from lightweight Red Oak and has 2 dowels that can be inserted in the back to elevate the top to give the perfect angle for viewing. The yellow plexiglass slider helps you to keep your place in your pattern so you always know which row is next, or even which ingredient is next in your favorite recipe! I think I’m enjoying it the most when I am transferring my written out patterns onto my computer. I still use pen to paper while working up a new pattern, and it’s so nice to be able to have a safe spot for it on my desk, but also have the yellow slider show me exactly where I left off. I can already tell that this will get a LOT of use in my office!
Sean and Holly were also sweet enough to send along a Comfort Grip Hook Stand and I’m telling you right now, that is a game changer!!! My hooks were always kept in a jar before. It may have looked pretty, but it was a pain to find the size I needed, or see if one had been misplaced. Now I have my hooks on display and in such a way where they won’t ever get chipped or damaged. That’s a win-win!
Make sure you check out the Chetnanigans Shops and tell Sean and Holly that I said ‘Hello’! Links to their website and Facebook Page are here and here.
Until next time!
