Thank you so much for the Lucky Penny Poncho pattern. It’s the only poncho that I’ve seen that I really like and
will make for myself.
Sincerely Pam says
That is great to hear! My mom snagged this one almost as soon as the photoshoot was done haha! I can hardly wait to start making another one for myself!
Annie Mullins says
Thank you, can’t wait to get started!
Lisa says
How many cakes did you use for this? Each cake is 568 yards and I am looking at a similar poncho on youtube where they only called for 2 cakes. If I do the math this would need 6 cakes.
Thanks.
Sincerely Pam says
Hello! For the smallest size shown in the photo, I used 4.5 cakes.
Debra Saliba says
What color yarn did you use for the adult poncho? I love how it looks but I need the color so I can buy it!
Sincerely Pam says
Hello Debra! I used the color Dragonfly for the adult poncho. I’m so happy to hear that you like it!
All the best,
Pam

I am not a “poncho” person, but this is perfect for me. We go to a lot of grandkids outdoor sporting events and sometimes the weather gets chilly in northern Wisconsin. I am making this in Mandela Tweed Stripes Wishing Well. Love it.
Cassandra says
Hi,
I’m about to start this project and I just wanted to know, I wear a size L but I want this to be quite loose so I was wondering if it is oversize or if I want it like the picture I should make the bigger size?
Sincerely Pam says
It is oversized, but to be sure you can always use the size measurements as a guide!
