The Ragged Falls Cocoon Shrug Pattern is finally available in Ladies Sizes! I released the Child Sizes last month and the response was incredible! Once again, this Shrug combines the fun and easy stitch pattern of the Ragged Falls Poncho and Ragged Falls Scarf patterns, along with the simplicty of cocoon shrug construction. Layered over long sleeves in colder temps, or to keep shoulders warm when worn over a tank, the Ragged Falls Cocoon Shrug is most definately a wardrobe staple!

This pattern was first brought to you as part of the Countdown to Valentine’s Day Event hosted by Nicki’s Homemade Crafts.
Since I used Whims Merino (a DK weight 50/50 blend of fine superwash merino + nylon) for the Child Sizes of this Cocoon Shrug, I knew I would use another DK weight yarn for the Ladies Sizes. I decided to head to Michaels and see what they had in stock. Although I loved the merino/nylon blend of Whims Merino, I wanted something a little lighter for the larger sizes. I have used Loops and Threads Joy DK yarn for other designs (the Alex Pullover and Cabridge Cardigan) so I knew exactly what kind of drape I could get! Each ball of 100% acrylic yarn comes in a 100g (3.5oz), 273 yds (250 m) size.
