The My Favorite Pillow crochet pattern was designed in honor of my Mom. When asked to design a project for Mother’s Day, I thought a lot about my own Mom. Growing up she was always right there with us. Playing with us. Teaching us how to cook and bake. Making sure we always used our manners. Tea parties, and crafting with us. That is one of my fondest memories. I remember going to ceramics classes with her, making wreaths for our home, painting etc. My mom is one of the craftiest people I know! Now that I have kids of my own I love to see her doing a lot of the same things with her grandkids.
So what does a Mom like that deserve? A nice, relaxing spot to enjoy a cup of tea, to recharge, and to maybe even take a nap. That is where the idea for “My Favorite Pillow” started.

Special Stitches:

Special Pattern Notes:
This pattern is worked from the bottom up with 2 strands of #2 held together.
Beginning chains do not count as sts.
To change colors seamlessly in the middle of a row, for example to change from (W) to (G), on the last stitch you are making of (W), insert hook into st, pull up a loop, switch the (G), complete st as you normally would. You can choose to drop the unused color and pick it up as needed, or cut the yarn as you go. If you drop and pick up the yarn, you may need more than what is recommended at the beginning of the pattern.
My Favorite Pillow Crochet Pattern Instructions:
