Easy Peasy Desk Set | Free Crochet Desk Set Pattern

I decided on this smaller project that will allow people to finish this entire project in just one sitting! It also uses only a single skein of Handicrafter! How awesome is that!? This was all that was left after finishing all three pieces.

Materials

• Yarn: 80 yards of Worsted #4 cotton yarn. Sample made using 1 skein Bernat Handicrafter.
• Hook: H (5.5mm).
• Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends.
• Measuring Tape.

Pattern Key

• ch: chain
• st(s): stitch(es)
• slst: slip stich
• sc: single crochet
• dc: double crochet
• BLO: back loop only

Gauge

• First 3 rounds of Mason Jar Cozy = 3”

Special Pattern Notes

This pattern is worked in joined rounds from the bottom up.

Beginning ch1 does not count as a stitch throughout.

CROCHET DESK SET PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS

Mason Jar Cozy

1: Starting with a Magic Circle, ch2, 12 dc in circle, pull gently to close, join to first dc. (12 dc)

2: Ch2, 2dc around, join. (24 dc)

3: Ch2, sc in first, 2sc in next, *sc in next, 2sc in next, repeat from * around, join. (36 sc)

4: Ch1, working in the BLO, sc around, join. (36 sc now and throughout)

5: Ch1, sc around, do not join.

6: Continue to work sc around in a continuous round until you reach the desired height (approximately 4.5″ tall).

7: Slst to the next st.

Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Paper Clip Bowl

1: Starting with a Magic Circle, ch2, 12 dc in circle, pull gently to close, join to first dc. (12 dc)

2: Ch2, 2dc around, join. (24 dc)

3: Ch2, dc in first, 2dc in next, *dc in next, 2dc in next, repeat from * around, join. (36 dc)

4-5: Ch1, sc around, join. (36 sc)

Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Sticky Notes Holder (fits 3″x3″ sticky note pad)

1: Ch11, sc in 2nd chain from hook and across. (10 sc)

2-12: Ch1, turn, sc across. (10 sc)

13: Ch1, turn, sc evenly around entire Holder, placing 2sc in each corner, join.

14: Ch1, working in the BLO, sc around, join.

15-16: Ch1, sc around, join.

Fasten off and weave in all ends.
